Lil' Dragons
Program Details
Under the guidance of Sensei Sam Foster, your Lil’ Dragons will learn basic techniques and receive certificates for achieving good practice habits and accomplishing their goals.
This program will prepare your Lil’ Dragon for our “Big Kids” program when they turn 7 years old.

Barracudas
Join the Barracuda Swim Team! Wear your bathing suit, goggles, and a swim cap if needed. You must be between the ages of 6 years old and 18 years old, able to cross at least one length of the pool in freestyle swimming. Competition is optional and swimmers must all be members of the YMCA.
Barracuda Schedule:
· Monday & Tuesday 6:00pm-7:30pm
· Thursday & Friday 6:00pm-7:30pm

Hammerheads
The Lawton Family YMCA offers the Hammerhead Swim Team, a Special Olympics program which is especially designed to teach swimming to special needs children and teens. Any child with a disability is welcome to participate in the Hammerhead Swim Team. Lifeguards are always on duty during the Hammerhead practice times.
Hammerhead Schedule:
· Wednesday 6:30pm-8:15pm
· Saturday 11:30am-12:15pm

A joint venture between the Y and Special Olympics. After learning to swim, we encourage your child to join the Hammerhead Swim Team in competition at Special Olympic swim meets and others specially designed for Special Olympic athletes.

Fencing Classes
The Lawton Family YMCA is proud to offer you a new and exciting program: Fencing! We offer instruction in everything from the very basics of fencing epee, foil, and sabre all the way up to advanced tactics and footwork!
Program Details:
Lessons are offered in the instruction of beginner, intermediate, and advanced sabre. Beginner & Intermediate foil and Epee. Group classes are offered during club hours from 6pm—8pm and individual lessons may be scheduled in advance with an instructor at any day or time. Classes take place at Washington Elementary School.

LFY - Fencing Club
The LFY Fencing Club is a fencing group that meets twice a week. Club members receive the following benefits:
· Free group classes and individual lessons.
· Individual and team practice sessions.
· Recreational and competitive fencing opportunities.

Where:
The LFY Fencing Club meets at Washington Elementary School; located at 805 NW Columbia Ave. Parking is available behind the school on the corner of NW Dearborn Ave. and NW 8th st. (Map available on the LFY Fencing Club Home Page)
When:
The club holds regular meeting times every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Group classes also take place during these times, however only club members may continue to fence after the group classes have ended.
