Barracudas & Hammerheads
Group Swim Lessons
Swim Lessons will run Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for 2 weeks OR Saturdays for 4 weeks. Weekday swim lessons will begin the 1st and 3rd week of every month. Weekend swim lessons will begin the first Saturday of every month.
Lessons are ½ hour with 25 minutes of instruction. One make-up lesson is available within the sessions. Must be scheduled with the Aquatics Coordinator.

6-11 Year Old Swim Lessons
· M, Tu, Th = 5:30, 6:15, & 7:00pm
· Saturday = 9:30, 10:15, 11:00am
Teen & Adult Swim Lessons
· M, Tu, Th = 7:00pm
· Saturday = 11:00am
PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS
As children progress beyond the beginner stage of group lessons they have these opportunity to continue to grow in a more individualized setting though our private swim lessons. We offer 1 on 1 lessons for 30 to 45 minutes.
Private swim lessons can be scheduled by signing up at the front desk, class times vary depending on your availability.

Lawton Family YMCA- SWIM TEAMS!
Barracudas
Join the Barracuda Swim Team! Wear your bathing suit, goggles, and a swim cap if needed. You must be between the ages of 6 years old and 18 years old, able to cross at least one length of the pool in freestyle swimming. Competition is optional and swimmers must all be members of the YMCA.
Barracuda Schedule:
· Monday & Tuesday 6:00pm-7:30pm
· Thursday & Friday 6:00pm-7:30pm
Program Fees:
· YMCA Members $25
· Non-Members *NOT AVAILABLE

Hammerheads
The Lawton Family YMCA offers the Hammerhead Swim Team, a Special Olympics program which is especially designed to teach swimming to special needs children and teens. Any child with a disability is welcome to participate in the Hammerhead Swim Team. Lifeguards are always on duty during the Hammerhead practice times.
Hammerhead Schedule:
· Wednesday 6:30pm-8:15pm
· Saturday 11:30am-12:15pm
Program Fees:
· YMCA Members $25
· Non-Members $35
A joint venture between the Y and Special Olympics. After learning to swim, we encourage your child to join the Hammerhead Swim Team in competition at Special Olympic swim meets and others specially designed for Special Olympic athletes.
