Class Descriptions

20/20/20 - Land Aerobics

This class has a little bit of everything to fit this fitness triangle. Floor Aerobics, Turbo Kick and a little Zumba.

Aqua Dynamics - Water Aerobics

Energize your evening with a total body workout including a variety of combinations to work all muscle groups.  Strength training and cardiovascular segments along with resistive equipment give you a great way to reach all of your health and fitness goals!

Aqua Fit - Water Aerobics

This class, developed by the Arthritis Foundation, is wonderful for those needing a little TLC.  It will focus on using the natural support and resistance of the water to relieve stiffness and stress associated with arthritis, chronic fatigue, or musculoskeletal conditions.

Aqua Mix - Water Aerobics

Start your morning with a high cardio paced class that gets you going!  Total body workout designed to strengthen, firm, and sculpt muscles using the resistance of the water and other aquatic equipment.

Aqua Zumba - Water Aerobics

Combine the water with Zumba and you will get an explosion! Water Aerobic moves based on Zumba dance steps.

Beginner Step - Land Aerobics

If you want to learn step, this is the class.  Lean the basics of step every Saturday.

Beginner Yoga - Specialty Class

Basic Yoga moves including hatha yoga postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques designed specifically for the beginner yogi. (*Bring a yoga mat & 2 pillows for relaxation. Additional yoga mats are available on a limited basis)

Body Sculpting - Land Aerobics

Challenge your muscles and get a great all over body shaping session with weights, exer-tubes and body bars.

 

Cardio Circuit - Land Aerobics

A faster pace workout for seniors designed to bring the heart rate up and burn fat.

Cardio Fusion Yoga - Specialty Class

This class is design to strengthen and condition your body's core muscle and while gaining strength and flexibility. It is a fusion of Yoga and Pilates.

The Core - Land Aerobics

This 25 minute class will strengthen your abs and back using a variety of safe and effective abdominal exercises.

Cycling/Spin Classes - Spinning

These high energy classes are a form of exercise focusing on strength, endurance, intervals, high intensity and recovery with use of stationary exercise bikes. Set the gears for extra resistance. These bikes have a weighted flywheel.

This is an organized bike ride in a classroom setting. Different instructors have different styles so come take a ride with us!

Deep Circuit - Water Aerobics

This challenging, yet self-paced class is held in our deep water pool.  Using flotation belts and other aquatic equipment, enjoy a great workout without the impact on your joints!  This is a unique and great cross training class.

E-Z Does It - Land Aerobics

This class is recommended for seniors and anyone wanting a 45 minute lighter cardio exercise class.

Hip Hop Dance - Land Aerobics

Aerobic class based on hip-hop moves set to urban beats.

Members Choice - Land Aerobics

Spotlight on a variety of classes and instructors, but always a complete workout.  Members are allowed to request what they want to target.  It could range from step to body sculpting.

MSROM - Land Aerobics

Muscle Strength and Range of Motion—for seniors or beginners seeking a lighter workout.

Pilates - Specialty Class

Combine stability, core, strength and flexibility. This class is great for toning and tightening your mid-section. A rewarding and relaxing workout for all fitness levels.

Pull Up A Chair - Land Aerobics

A resistance based workout that includes free weights and flexibility training as well as relaxation techniques, all done in your chair.

Splash & Tone - Water Aerobics

A great variety of strengthening, cardio, and toning exercises utilizing various aquatic equipment to give you a full and complete workout that will keep you coming back again and again!

Step - Land Aerobics

A high energy, low impact class using a height-adjusted step.  This class is good for all fitness levels.

 

Water Power - Water Aerobics

Enjoy benefits of an overall body sculpting class incorporating strength training and cardiovascular segments designed for all fitness levels.  Give it a try, you’ll be glad you did!

Water Walking - Water Aerobics

Enjoy benefits of an overall body sculpting class incorporating strength training and cardiovascular segments designed for all fitness levels.  Give it a try, you’ll be glad you did!

Yoga Flow - Specialty Class

This class combines classic yogafit poses flowing from on pose to the next. This is an incredible mind and body work out while still building strength and flexibility. (*Bring a yoga mat & 2 pillows for relaxation. Additional yoga mats are available on a limited basis)

Yoga Power - Specialty Class

Yoga Power integrates body and mind for a total performance and is effective in achieving body and mind health. Yoga Power is strength, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility all in one. (*Bring a yoga mat & 2 pillows for relaxation. Additional yoga mats are available on a limited basis)

Yoga Strength - Specialty Class

Give yourself a challenging and fast-paced style of yoga. This method is designed to tone and strengthening every muscle in your body. Also will increase your flexibility. (*Bring a yoga mat & 2 pillows for relaxation. Additional yoga mats are available on a limited basis)

Zumba - Land Aerobics
