Where is the Lawton Family YMCA Located?

We are located at 5 SW 5th Street - On the corner of 5th & Gore.

Parking is accessible off Gore Blvd. (East of Fort Sill National Bank) or at the public lot at Shepler Park. (East of the Y - across 5th st.)

How much does a membership cost?

Joiner Fee
A non-refundable $35 joiner fee applies to new memberships. Joiner fee waived for youth, student, and active or retired military.

When is the Y open?

Regular Hours:
Monday - Friday:              5:30am -10:00pm
Saturday:                         7:00am -8:00pm
Sunday:                           1:00pm -5:00pm 

If the Y is closed due to weather conditions, it will be posted on KSWO, our Facebook Page "Lawton Family YMCA" and our Twitter "@LawtonYMCA"

It will also be posted on our "Recently Updated" page (link on right)

When can I register for Summer Camps & how much does it cost?

Preferred Registration for ALL DAY CAMPS opens for Y-Members only on March 17th!  Non-members can register starting on March 21st.

Day Camp Fees:
· Registration Fee      $30/child
· YMCA Members       $75/week
· Non-Members         $90/week
· Deposit                  $10/week
10% Multiple Child Discount

When are the Lifeguarding Classes?

Lifeguarding Classes are frequently being scheduled, contact the aquatics department for more information.

Minimum age to take our class is 16 years old. YMCA lifeguarding classes cost $150.

How old does does my child have to be in order to come to the Y without me?

14 years old.

How old does my child have to be in order to go into the weight room?

12 & 13 year olds may be in the weight room, but they must be accompanied by their parent. 14 year olds may work-out alone.

Can anyone use Child Watch?

No. Only people with a Family Membership to the Y may use the Child Watch & My Tyme programs. There is a 2 hour time limit per child per day and you must be working at in the Y while you are using Child Watch.

Is the Y hiring & how old do you have to be to work at the Lawton Family YMCA?

The Y is not always actively hiring for all positions, but we are always accepting applications for lifeguards, front desk staff, child watch, & after school staff. Each department has different age requirements, but the minimum age to work at the Lawton Family YMCA is 16.
